Join Shannon Stephens and Alexis Persico of Routed Connection for a retreat that will help create new levels of balance and flow in your life. We start with the understanding that the interplay between Yin and Yang pairings (light and dark; day and night; quiet and loud; hard and soft) underlies all creation, and is critical to our health and well-being. We all suffer physical, mental, and emotional pain when the habits and patterns of our lives lead to an imbalance between the active (Yang) and quiet, introspective (Yin) sides of our natures.
This retreat will offer opportunities and techniques to restore the balance that nourishes us, by going inward and by cultivating our connection with nature. Each morning, Alexis will lead you through slow-flow vinyasa classes that build strength and heat, and offer the chance to ground and connect with your body. Evening Yin-based classes with Shannon will help you turn inward and nurture a calm, quiet center. Yin poses are held passively for time, leaving space for rest and renewal. The hours between classes will offer opportunities to explore and restore, practicing the art of observation, connecting with the mountains, water, and trees, and deepening our capacity to be fully present.
We’ll walk Feathered Pipe's network of trails, canoe on the beautiful lake, and lounge barefoot together in the grass. We’ll appreciate each other's company, and find solitude for reflection. We’ll gather for delicious meals, savor star gazing, and reflect and unwind together around the evening campfire. Expect to connect on a deeper level to yourself and to others, and leave with a new understanding of how to maintain balance and ease in your life.
